> 3 dayMy CPU only supports gen. 3 PCIe so a gen. 4 was not needed. After a month or so of use, this unit continues to function very well. It is fast to load the OS and applications. No complaints.

> 3 dayI bought this for my Lenovo thinkpad, for a storage upgrade. After I cloned my old disk onto this one, and worked perfectly with no hassle at all. So far it’s fast, and stays cool, and have experienced no issues with it at all. Would buy from WD again.

Greater than one weekThis review is for the SN570 2TB model. If you have a PCIe Gen3 x4 slot open, this works great, and will achieve the rated transfer speeds (main limitation is the PCIe Gen3 x4). Great addition for your Steam library, good price, and good warranty. Ive purchased a total of 6 WD Blue SSD drives over the past 5 years, none have failed yet. Its hard to find any negatives about this drive, I highly recommend it.

Greater than one weekI bought my 2TB SN570 to use as a backup drive for my Mac Studio, inside an OWC Envoy Express Thunderbolt3 enclosure and using Carbon Copy Cloner as the backup software. In the first run, it completed backing up 732GB of data in 10m, or 1.2GBps true write rate, with sustained rates of 1.4GBps. This is real-world performance, not from a synthetic benchmark that can be games by SLC cache, and the enclosure itself is rated at 1.5GBps max. Color me impressed.
