My daughter was thrilled to receive this for Christmas to help mommy in the kitchen. After one wash (dishwasher top rack) the cutting board was in pieces. So disappointing. Update: The company did reach out to apologize for my experience. They sent my daughter a replacement and informed me that the wooden pieces are not dishwasher safe only the silicone pieces are top rack dishwasher safe. So far no other issues have occurred. The pieces are sturdy and easy to clean. My daughter is having a blast helping out in the kitchen.

Similar items can be purchased individually for far less. Tried to cancel order before it shipped but they rushed the shipment after I already cancelled now have to return it in person. Very inconvenient.

This is really well made and with real quality materials. The wood is a really nice oak, definitely no complaints there. Because it’s real and I would suggest giving it a good cutting board wax because they do arrive a little dry. The wax will help them last and not get chipped or brittle too soon. With that I would not put them in the dishwasher. I don’t put any of my wood utensils in the dishwasher and that’s just me but I feel like it keeps the wood looking better and lasting longer. Even with that they’re easy to clean. Just have your little one wash them with warm water and a mild soap. Having them was their own utensils is also a great learning opportunity. The mittens and the apron are also a great quality. No fraying or loose strings. Too cute and well thought of. Everything fits in the wooden carrying case neatly and keeps it all together. So it’s all there whenever the little one wants to help out, IF they remember to put them all together. I will say to get it. My 3 year old uses hers with no problems and it’s helped her independence a lot. She’s always been little miss independent but she’s limited in the kitchen. Not anymore. She’s so happy making her own little snacks and actually helping out in the kitchen with no limits.

I am so excited to use this with my 15 month old! She’s always with me in the kitchen and wants to be involved. This kit is a perfect option that gives me peace of mind that she can help without getting hurt. Great idea and would be a great gift for any aspiring sous chef!

This is the cutest set. It comes with two dusty rose child size oven mitts and a rose colored striped apron. This set has silicone tools such as a spatula, spoon,tongs and more again in that pretty dusty rose. Beautiful cutting board with two child safe wooden knives one geered toward a younger child and one for slight older more advanced mini chefs. All placed in a handled open wooden box.although you could use it for play this set is fully intentioned to be used to prepare real food. Everything about this set screams high end quality.

UPDATE: Once WeeSprout saw my review they reached out to me and sent me a new cutting board and a hand written apology note! This is a great company that obviously cares about their customers. Love these products! I loved this set. My kids love using it and the knife and chopping tool are definitely the favorites. Really disappointed though that the cutting board split right down a seam after washing and drying it the first time. I did wash it by hand and followed the care instructions. It doesnt give me much hope for the durability of the rest of the set

I chose this WeeSprout Little Chef Kids Cooking and Baking Set for my kids to have as a Christmas gift. Its truly an impressive 14-piece set that includes 2 kid-sized oven mitts, a cutting board, tongs, a whisk, a wooden chopper, a rolling pin, a wooden knife, a kid-sized apron, a stirring, spill, a spoonula spatula, a turner, a spatula, a carrying box, 3 recipe cards, and 3 blank recipe cards. The tools are incredibly sturdy so they will hold up to kids rough handling.

My grandbabies love this cooking set! It has everything needed to bake some cookies! The apron is just adorable and the grandbabies (3 & 5) fight over who gets to wear it first. They love the oven mit, as well, so they can be just like their Dedee. All of the items appear to be durable and well made. I like the little box to store everything in. Overall, this cooking set is excellent but it is priced a bit high at $59.99, in my opinion.

This WeeSprout chef set is really nice. Just like adult utensils except the knife is kid friendly. Comes with everything a toddler would need to help bake. Good quality, sturdy and should last for a long time. Good for boys or girls.
