My son is 10 years old and weighs 78 lbs and the large fits him with room to grow. Bought for when hes riding fourwheeler trails. Gives me a little bit more peace of mind. I also bought arm and shin knee protectors separately.

If your unsure of the size... try the smaller one first. This Item seems to be well made and the most important aspect to me is the spine support for my 6 yr old son who rides a quad. Cant have too much protection. He wears this with the Atlas broll neck guard and of course a helmet.

My 3yo is true to size (wears 3T/4T). I cant imagine this armor will fit him anytime soon, but Im keeping it anyways as its better than nothing. His electronic 4-wheeler isnt going to send him flying, so this armor will still offer significant protection for falls, even being that its loose. Just wanted to share the size info to help others set their expectations. Its challenging to find protective gear for the tiny daredevils.

Overall a nice protector for my 9-year-old boy. He found it to be very comfortable. Unfortunately, the waist strap did not stick after a few months of use, and the fabric where the plates are attached to the back started tearing resulting in several falling off. My son rides Mtb downhill in the mountains several times a week for 2-3 hours at a time. For $50 I think it was a good purchase and I would buy it again.
