Got the 500gb ssd for PS5, First read got about 6400 mbts per sec. Pretty good but probably gonna get cheaper in a year. Dont get this with the preinstalled SSD, u can save like $40-60 if you buy a separate ssd, just check reviews ppl will say if it works or not.

I was debating between the SN850 and the Samsung Pro for my PS5 but after reading reviews, turns out some of the Samsung drives require a firmware update to get the faster download speeds and not having a desktop computer at home, updating the firmware would have been a PIA. Decided to go with the SN850 and its been great. The 2tb version was offered at great price and even though I dont have a ton of games at this point, Im sure it will eventually get filled up. The speeds are just as advertised and installation was a breeze. I paired the drive with a Sabrent NVME heatsink that was designed exclusively for the PS5 and everything is working just like it should. Definitely would recommend the combination of the two if youre thinking of extending your storage.

Very easy to instal in Ps5 bay. Plenty of room for air to move through with the cover on. Solid heatsink and shows a FULL Terabyte of storage. Easily as fast as the internal ssd of the Ps5. At least as far as I can see.

Great product, but couldn’t get it recognized on the first m.2 slot but worked on the second and third slot but that more of a mobo issue otherwise powerful little device.

Expensive tiny piece of electronics, but well worth it. Boot up time is now 7 seconds!

I bought this for my PS5. Works great. No complaints here. Its pricey, but fast and more storage now for my PS5 games.
