But once I installed it I quickly realized that the recommended speed for ps5 ssd is simply just the at, recommended. If you want a cheaper SSD that will still work beautifully with the PS5, then get this. I got the 500gb model (I have a 2 tb external hard drive so getting a bigger M.2 ssd didn’t make much sense for me) and it really is useful. Now I have 1.2 tbs of fast SSD storage on the ps5, and 2tb of HDD storage for my ps4 games and to store my ps5 games on

It is very fast and speedy, it operates very reasonably cool and provides plenty of room for Windows 11 and all my other programs and apps to include my Flight Simulator which runs great on my setup. I did change PCI lane configuration in bios to get max speed.
