I used this keycap puller to replace the plastic ring one that came with my keyboard after loosing it. I feel like the plastic one was easier to get the key caps off as I have to manually spread the wires so as not to scratch my keys. The wire is starting to loosen up so I dont have to spread it by hand all the time. It does hit the surrounding keys when trying to pull off a key cap when you twist to lock it in place, which makes it harder to get the key off than the plastic ring that came with my keyboard. This puller does look much sturdier than the plastic ring puller that came with my keyboard though. It does look like it would be hard to break with any normal usage, which is part of the reason I picked this up. The other is it looks like it would be harder to loose as well.

While IT DOES PERFORM its function perfectly, I cant help but get the feeling I could have just bent some paperclips to get the same functionality as this keycap puller. This is much more convenient then doing that though.

    1. Two-day shipping to them = 5-10 days 2. It seems like the Chinese company WASD Keyboards have no quality control and uses a THIRD PARTY shipping delivery system 3. Package arrived, and though the envelope was perfectly sealed, the inside plastic rap was not, and the item was missing. a. If the item was taken at port, then the envelope would of came with a notice from the port that it was seized, the item did not have a notice. b. The envelope has no signs of seal or reseal, thus I conclude that the item must of been taken out (stolen) before it was sent out. c. I dont think any manufacturing company would be sending empty envelopes, so the item was probably there. Other possibility: Often companies in the US that sells the product, are products that are produced, assembled and shipping in another country (usually China or Taiwan). Sometimes a new product would be shipped in bulk, (which is why two day shipping or even one day shipping doesnt mean anything here), which means they wont ship your product until they meet a certain # of sells. This would mean that the bulk is shipped to the US, and then there must be a separate packaging. So somewhere along that line, someone stole the product. I have ordered a new one from WASD, and though Amazon claimed it 1 day shipping for me, as they do when an item goes missing, the expected date is 5 days from now. I am just glad I didnt buy my mechanical keyboard from them.

I have used this to pull the keys from a vintage Model M and an Amiga 500. Worked great and no damage to either keyboard occurred!
