I got this style of stand to make a space to tuck away my laptop and tablet and it works great for that and has really opened up space on my desk. My only complaint is that the rubber feet are barely there and Ive found that I have to be careful when shifting the stand with any weight on it (the monitor or my things tucked inside it) because it will leave marks on my wooden desk.

My wife uses this for her work laptop to level it with her monitor and free up some desk space. Its cheap, sturdy, and a better permanent option than using books or stacks of paper.

Exactly what I needed for my home office!

Too small

I needed a riser for my computer monitor at work. I put my laptop underneath. (I would recommend measuring your laptop first.) My office desk is limited on space. A couple of other employees saw mine and bought one for themselves. I like the openness of the stand...plenty of room to run cords anywhere. And, it is plenty sturdy - not a flimsy piece of junk.

It was very easy to assemble; literally 4 screws. It fits on my desk perfectly. and holds the monitor perfectly.
