I purchased mine as a bundle for genealogy documentation etc. Have scanned pictures, documents, etc and Im going to say its the BEST purchase Ive made thus far in 2012! Love it!! Its also easy to use, to pack along, instructions are easy to follow. One issue is having to reset jpg or pdf if you let it shut off. It doesnt hold what you last used, but then again, maybe you dont want it too! I just need to get in the habit of checking the window instead of being so excited in finding something to scan. LOL In fact, two other family members have purchased from my recommendation. Many people that are doing genealogy research have these. If you have a family member that likes to scan (remember you can take these anywhere!) it would make a terrific Christmas present for them! And I did buy it thru Amazon and had it within a few days!! Also, excellent to scan old photos to put onto CDs, etc. Very easy.

I got the product just 3 days after completing the on line order. Unfortunately I couldnt test it immediately. As I live abroad, when I returned home, I tried to use the scanner for the first time only 3 weeks after receiving it. The scanner did work, as I could see the images in the computer. But the preview mode did not work. Amazon return procedures inform that Ive to send back the product. But the cost to send it back from my country is almost the price of the scanner. And also I have waited 3 weeks to start using it. In the end I have to keep the scanner that works only partially. I would not recommend this scanner.

I ordered this for my wife and she loves it. I was so impressed with it that I ordered another for my self in blue.

it is hard to get it right. you need to swipe the scanner in a strictly straight line with even pace. It is just hard to do it right in one time and you need to repeat multiple times, maybe several dozen times... i have to return it sorry!

Neat and convenient tool for certain scan jobs. Very solid build and sharp color. Love the wifi aspect of this particular model, which makes it easy to view your scans on your smartphone to check your work. This is much superior to the model with the 1 color screen. Docked one star because it eats batteries.

Recieved it as a christmas present. It has worked very well. With color as well as grays. Wish it was a little faster.

Nice scanner and very easy to use.
