> 3 dayGreat picture and price. Can be a little loud, I definitely would only use in a windowless room.

> 3 dayI’ve done a lot of research and this is definitely one of the best purchases I made. Because of the size and shape of my living room, I had to get a short throw projector to make the image fit my 100” screen from about 5 ft away. The projector is pretty bright even during the day. I like the 3X fast input feature that makes the gameplay more responsive. I can also connect my phone, or laptop directly to the USB-C to mirror my screen. The built-in speaker also produces decent sound that I don’t need to use external speakers. Pros: Bright Short Throw Quiet Decent built-in speaker USB-C connection with power Auto keystone Low input lag and gaming mode Cons: Remote is not backlit No horizontal keystone No USB type-A power Overall: I highly recommend this product for any home entertainment system and it works great if you have limited space.

> 3 dayIve done weeks if not months of research before ordering this product. I got it at a good discount during the Black Friday event and I must say: the product definitely meets my expectations. The function of the beamer was going to be to replace my daily tv, run Zwift (virtual cycling game), but also be able to beam on the back of my house (outdoor cinema or watch the sports with friends). The illumination of the beamer is well-beyond expectation and the quality of the picture is splendid. Ive only not tried out the 3D feature, but I will most likely never use this. So in short I can conclude for any day and nighttime activity this beamer meets my expectations, easy to use and - on top - its compact enough to store it away when not in use. Note: I never use the build-in speaker so didnt put that in my review. Its good enough but I always hook the beamer to external speakers.

> 3 dayI upgraded my projector for this one as I wanted to be able to watch NHL games with more clarity and smoothness for the speed of the game. It will never match the sharpness of a TV but I have to say that I am pleasantly surprised at how good a job it does. I am happily watching NHL games using this new projector.

> 3 dayThere was a differing opinion about whether this projector had enough lumens, etc. to be seen during daylight. The truth is that it doesn’t. Fantastic picture quality at dark...very decent at pretty dark. Cant see picture hardly at all even at 6-7:00 pm on an overcast day. I’m pleased with the projector/would buy again but if you’re planning an event and counting on this to be seen before dark....adjust your expectations. Happy viewing!!

> 3 dayLooked for a reasonably priced name brand 4K projector. So far we’re pleased. Set up a new basement Rec Room for an 80 to 100 inch display over a fireplace. The instructions and zoom lens got us to the right location pretty easily. Projection directly on a slightly off white painted wall worked out fine. The 4K and non-4K content works for us. It’s usable during the day with room darkening blinds but really shines after dark. We blue tooth to an older Bose sound system with an adapter using a Firestick 4K as the native projector is really a plug in setup which won’t work from the middle of a ceiling. It is like having our own theatre now! Recommended!

> 3 dayI wanted to add a review for using this as a computer monitor in case others were thinking of the same. The unit is very bright. I dont have to close my windows if Im looking at high contrast things like text. Color isnt maybe as good as more expensive projectors, but I found it to be fine. I found that using 1080p resolution for desktop use was better than 4k as the pixels are a bit fuzzy at that resolution which makes text not look as good. This is due to the pixel shifting tech used (any 4k projector sub $1600-2000 will use this). The screen is very detailed at 4k showing movies and games, however, and the pixel shifting kind of adds a bit of an anti-aliasing effect. I dare say I might actually prefer a pixel shifting projector for computer use as it lets you decide between 4k 60hz and 240hz 1080p with both modes having their own strengths. I feel I have two monitors I like for different reasons which is cool. There is just a slight perceptible lag on 4k, but its really not bad. I dont notice any at 1080p 240hz. And it really does go that high, the difference between 120 and 240hz is noticeable, and it looks really good at the high refresh rate. I actually prefer it over my 144hz 1440p monitor. I dont think this would be good enough for esports compared to a 240hz monitor, but its very close. Remember to use the game mode. Overall it works better than I expected as a computer monitor and Im happy with it and feel it was a good value for the money. Other thoughts -I wish the power plug was longer. Im not going to install this in ceiling, and I had to use an extension cord for it to reach down to a plug that is only a few feet horizontally away. -The remote is a bit old fashioned looking. Not a big deal to me but I think ViewSonic should update the design. -Sometimes the unit makes a strange whirling sound that is annoying. Usually it doesnt and it has done it less as I have used it. Its not the fan, it sounds like something is spinning that is not lubricated. When this isnt happening I found the fan noise to be fairly low and constant. -Its very easy to switch between modes like normal and eco, needing only one button to be hit. This is really nice since the bulb has a lifespan. If I know Im going to step away from the computer for a few minutes or am going to just be looking at text I can switch it to super eco in two seconds. -SuperEco at 240hz flickers, changing to a different refresh rate fixes this. Some tips: -Dynamic Eco is basically as good as normal in terms of color and brightness at least when its showing a bright image. Thats my main setting. I think it just dims when the screen is dark. It is better than eco (but not super eco) in terms of bulb life according to the manual. -Make sure your resolution is 1920 by 1080 if you want 240hz. If its 1920 by 1200 if will default to 120hz. -if the projector is located above you, make sure you turn the projector upside down. It will need next to no keystone correction that way which keeps the image at native.
