I bought another replacement kit first. It is like OEM with a curved tool to used to gymnastically with your hands pull out and push in at the same time to snap the outside the vend blade to the interior connecting piece. Then I heard of the Vent Tab branded product. And I am so glad I did. The important thing here is to remove the remains of the old tab first. Follow the instructions and youll be happy with this. With the vent tabs brand, the articulation is a little less than factory, but does the job well, easy and confidently. I have placed 4 new ones on my E93 and so glad I did.

This replacement vent tab is much better than the original factory ones. Really easy to install. Takes about 15 seconds. Would definitely recommend this to everyone who needs a replacement.

Snapped in perfectly for my 2009 BMW 328i! Definitely worth the price, especially when you have to buy a whole new air vent to replace it with BMW. You just need to be careful to put it in precisely.
