uxcell 3mm x 250mm 304 Stainless Steel Solid Round Rod for DIY Craft - 10pcs

I use 3mm x 150mm rods to make a product I sell, I have been buying Glarks 300mm rods and cutting them in half, this means I also have to clean the ends up on my sander. I found these Uxcell ones that were already 150mm and figured it would save me time in cutting and sanding. The ends of these are obviously just sheered off and it pinches and deforms the ends (both ends) so now instead of cutting and sanding 1 end I now have to sand both ends and get them to look perfect (one end is inserted into a part and will never be seen but the other end will be seen by customer. The Glarks ones are perfect on both ends so I take the end I cut and clean ind insert it into the part with the perfect end being what the customer sees. I am not sure how well this will go using these in place of the Glarks as the customer will always see one end that has been sanded down to make it usable. There was no indication that the ends of these would not be perfect.

Good for miscellaneous projects.

The product is not advertised as a engineered product so dont expect anything perfectly smooth, with perfectly flat ends. It does just barely meet expectations of the description. The material is stainless steel as advertised. Not every part was the same length which is not good. But most of the parts were similar in length. Depending on what you need it for, it may be perfect, or not good enough. The image shows what you will get.

rods where exactly as described. Cut them in half and used them on a granny Squares board I made for my daughter.

These seem to have been sheered off rather than properly cut; this leaves the ends slightly bent and not smooth and round. No good for projects that require straight rods with smooth ends.

Smooth, no rough edges. Would have been perfect had I ordered the correct length. (My mistake, not the sellers.)

Sheared at end which bent each part, not matching description. I would not purchase.

These are pretty nice metal rods. Cant complain too much, they are sturdy and seem well made and will be useful in other projects, Im sure. The reason I bought these rods was to construct something using magnets and unfortunately these rods are NOT magnetic. Otherwise, they are just fine.

Making monkey fists with 3 inch ball bearings. But building a jig for multiple setups. Stainless steel rods will work for this purpose, and others, Very smooth, just the right diameter and length.

These are not 3mm there are like 2.25mm, I needed 3mm. But to return them I would have had to pay $ for ups pickup, or spend 30$ in gas to drive to a ups store. So I wasted the money. To not waste more money.
