> 24 hourIt’s ok, I am glad apparently according to what I could find that this unit is compatible with many devices. Price range has gotten way better than the puck. Awkward amount of cables for a simple gps though. But it does work well. Just figure out a way to deal with extra cables if your using this in a mobile setup.

> 24 hourWorks like it should! Connected to SDS200 scanner, but comes with few other adapters to use with other scanners!

> 24 hourNot a fan of wires. Unfortunately, this has plenty. Had to hard wire to get rid of 2 wires. There is no option but to cut the cig lighter power supply or get a bit creative as I did. Ultimately, I hid all the wires. The kit seems to be outdated and could be consolidated. Still, works well. Also, not much literature with it. Have to Google or YouTube for more info.

> 24 hourtoo many wires ideally would have both power for radio and GPS puck sensitivity a little low compared with similar pucks as there are little plug and play alternatives it will do job but approach is clumsy

> 24 hourEasy to setup and use. Excellent for the SDS200 - one wire and the gps unit is all that is needed. In contrast, three wires and two boxes to put somewhere for the SDS100. There are cheaper and less cluttered solutions available (using the older wire and a gps puck).

> 24 hourI very strongly suggest that you watch the YouTube setup video by ScannerMaster on how to set up the GPS for your scanner. Out of the box, the set up is not intuitive. Keep in mind that this kit is for a variety of different scanner radios marketed by Uniden, and there is not one universal GPS data port. This means that you will not use all of the cables supplied in the kit, only those ones you need for your particular radio scanner. You will have unused cables left over, but save them if you have more than one kind of Uniden radio scanner. Also make certain that you set the baud rate of the GPS correctly. The BCD536HP wants a baud rate of 4800, whereas a Home Patrol 2 wants a baud rate of 9600, for example. If the scanner doesnt recognize the GPS unit, try changing the baud rate to 9600 (the default is 4800).

> 24 hourNever got a chance to use it on SDS 200 Because the scanner would never hold his memory
