I wanted to clean some of my fountain pens and heard an ultrasonic cleaner was the way to go. Didnt feel like a more expensive 100$ unit was needed because I would only be cleaning nibs not electronics. This fit the bill nicely. ---The good--- -Cleans gently, even cleaned an heirloom LeBlanc Miesterstuck of old ink and brought it back to usable condition. -cleans out archival ink from pen nibs easily - small so it can go in a drawer -quiet so it doesnt sound like a rock tumbler, just produces a small buzzing sound. -easy to use no complex routines or setup ---The bad--- -cleanup is a pain, use a shot glass or measuring cup to scoop out liquid then pour out remainder when there is only 1/3 of total liquid left. -one cleaning cycle no ability to set your own length of clean. ---Conclusion--- Worth it for me it easily cleans out the semi dried and fully dried up archival ink from my pen nibs. Makes cleaning a lot easier for me. It comes with a white plastic tray that I suggest using since ultrasonic cleaners are least effective cleaning wise right at the bottom of the basin. Also the metal bottom could scratch things and you dont want that. Can I confirm through scientific methodology that this is indeed an ultrasonic cleaner, no; but it appears to clean as good as I need. And for what I paid that is good enough.

I got this cleaner for glasses and jewelry. It works well for both! Easy to use, cycle only takes a few minutes. We use a teaspoon or so of lens cleaner, add warm water to the fill line, and everything comes out great. The only complaint I could come up with is that I wish the tub was about half an inch deeper- I have to put my glasses lenses down in the tub to completely submerge them, and I worry that they might get scratched.

I can’t believe I waited so long to get this. It’s wonderful to have my glasses look like new everyday. I throw them in while I’m dressing and boom brand new looking lenses. I do use it for jewelry occasionally but mainly use it for glasses and it’s great. So far so good. We will see how long it lasts.

I like this product for eye glasses, gets all the gunk and dirt out from all the small areas. With the right cleaner you can also sanitize them.

It doesn’t replace a thorough cleaning by a professional jeweler every six months or so, but it does wonders on a weekly basis, especially on your diamond rings where lotion, etc. gets under the prongs
