It is water resistant as far as I can tell. I do use a liner even though description states not necessary. not sheer but then I dont want it to be! I would recommend!

Greater than one weekLove the design - especially for the price it’s a lot of bang for your buck. Only bummer is the creases/fold lines haven’t come out after washing and months of use. Because of the polyester content, I’m afraid to iron it. But yes glad I bought it :)
