This is the first western saddle cover I have ever bought. Was expecting a more elastic, form fitting, fully enclosed cover like my english saddle covers over the years.... this is not that but it will keep the dust off. I mainly got it for that purpose and so I could put my sweaty/hairy used saddle pad on my saddle without getting my saddle dirty. It works for this purpose. For the price, it’s fine. If it were more expensive, I’d return it. Not meant for travel, as it only sits on the saddle with small elastic straps behind the skirt and sleeves for just the stirrups.... ok for just storing in the tack room. Looks clean and professional in my tackroom at work. I got a black one and a black paisley. Wouldn’t have gotten any of those yahoo colors.... good item but was expecting something different.

Beautiful and durable saddle cover that protects my expensive saddle from dust and dirt in the stable and horse trailer. It fits my 16” gaited trail saddle well though the back corner elastics are better suited for a square skirted saddle, not my round skirted. I was able to get a matching grooming bag to hang in my trailer to complete the look.

4 stars because it did not fit as expected. Elastic straps could be wider and a drawstring in back would help this cover fit tighter so to keep out the dust.

Its ok, you get what you pay for. The stitching was kind of bad, not only in one spot but two spots. It doesnt cover the underside of your saddle, just the top. I did like how it had spots to put the stirrups in, I didnt think it would fit my saddle because its a roping saddle and fairly long, but it actually seems to big for my saddle which I prefer bigger over small. Over all 3 stars.

Fits my Alamo barrel saddle and my Tex Tan all-purpose saddle both.
