While not as protective as, say, putting your laptop in a $80 pelican case, this sleeve is *noticeably* more protective and better built than any other Ive tried. They put extra padding on the bottom and edges, where other sleeves are often too thin, but where your laptop needs the MOST protection. The case is thick and fits the new 13 Macbook Pro (late 2016 on) perfectly. I am very satisfied with this purchase.

> 24 hourIt has nice padding on the inside to protect the finish of your laptop, is sufficiently waterproof (kept my laptop safe from the rain as I ran to a cab but I didnt dare to let it get soaked for a full test) and fits nicely in my backpack. The side pocket is large enough to hold the charger, my wireless mouse and a few pens. Glad I bought this.

> 24 hourI bought this because I had previous experience with Tomtoc products, both at work, and at home (I had previously ordered a similar sleeve for my iPad Pro). This is a very nice sleeve, and protects my MacBook Air well. It is not quite a perfect fit (its slightly big for the MacBook Air), but in that respect, it is easier to get the MacBook Air in and out of the sleeve. Highly recommended.

> 24 hourMy 13 MacBook Pro fits in here perfectly - as do my cables/chargers. Only reason its not getting 5 stars is I wish it had a little slit on the back side for papers. Other than that, its an excellent sleeve - very well designed, and I love the extra cushion its got (especially around the edges).
