> 3 dayCouldnt find a replacement pulley, so just replaced the bearing. Used a press, but probably didnt even need that much strength. Seemed to press in and out easily. So much quieter, and I know Timken is a quality bearing.

> 3 dayTimken is an American brand if you consider it was founded in the United States and head quartered in North Canton, Ohio (Wikipedia). The bearing is described as American Brand. Thus, leaving where its made as a complete mystery. When the 6203-2RSC3 6203-2RS bearing arrived neither the box nor wrapper nor bearing had any indication of country of origin. I ordered another bearing from Texas Cargo on AMAZON Timken 6203-2RS Bearing 17mm x 40mm x 12mm Made in USA.... That bearing had nearly identical packaging, the wrapper was a little more substantial and the bearing did say USA.

> 3 dayWell made bearings. Good quality. A lot less expensive to replace just the bearings than the whole variable speed pulley assembly for my riding mower

> 3 dayI used these to replace pool pump bearings, they reduced the sound of the pump so much that we dont even know that its running. Even when compared to the many new pumps we had in the past. It is so very quiet now. I just cant believe how much of a difference it has made.

Greater than one weekI bought three of these bearings to upgrade and repair the front hub on my walk behind Poulan Pro weed eater. The original bearings had a leaky metal shield (6203zz). The new bearings have a rubber boot (6203-2RS. They fit perfectly and I hope will last a lot longer. Seems that the original bearings are not made to last.
