Bought it back in December, worked great until now. The RAM failed and MacBook would not load at all.

I install these ram Chips and an SSD at the same time my computer must be faster than brand new.

We ordered this in the morning, around 10AM and received it the same day around 7PM. That was the main factor in this purchase. Our 2012 MacBook Pro was running incredibly slow and we needed it up and running as quickly as possible. We had looked at the installation process earlier in the day and found it to be fairly self-explanatory. The hardest part was actually removing the backing as it had 8 years or who knows what basically gluing it together! The laptop is running exponentially better and we didnt have to shell out hundreds of dollars for Apple to do the same thing giving us the same result. Definitely a smart purchase on our part and would be on yours, too.

Works great will buy again

Easy to install, macBook Pro found the added memory right away. The computer is considerably faster.

Increased speed/efficiency and reduced lag

Opened the RAM door, moved the 4GB modules to the empty slots and installed these 8GB modules to the now empty lots. Not sure if this was worthy but herd that higher RAM modules first is better. Whether you do what I did or not, these are the easiest to install.

I purchased this product a few months back, but I finally installed this ram into my mid 2012 MacBook Pro two days ago. The computer turned on like normal. So far so good. However, I started to worry when it took a very long time to boot. I put an SSD in this machine a few years back and since then it had booted quickly. My computer recognizes that it has 16gb installed, but opening apps takes much more time than before. My finder is very laggy when I try to browse through folders, use preview, etc. I even have choppy performance just moving m mouse around. I ran several memory tests (memtest86). I couldnt find any errors. My ram isnt broken. It just isnt any good. Spend a few more dollars and get something you can depend on.

It was easy to install and works as described. As anticipated I noticed a performance improvement when I work on multiple applications at the same time. A good buy.
