Packaging was top notch and states that this RAM is made in USA I Bought this after reading all the great reviews, to upgrade from 2GB RAM to 16GB. Ifixit and Macsales lists that the Mid 2011 mac mini does not accept 16GB but after reading the reviews and seeing others with the mid 2011 mini having success with this product, i decided to pull the trigger. Very happy overall and would buy timetec products again

> 3 dayBought for my macbook a1278. My ram shhh the bed, so I upgraded to this 2x8 16gb ram. Didnt upgrade to a SSD yet. Fixed my mac from it not turning on and giving me the 3 beeps all of a sudden. Works fine with the original harddrive, but yes, will have to upgrade the hard drive to get the full potential of the ram. Hope it lasts a long time. :)
