These were perfect for my older MacBook Pro. Very easy to install as well.

My MacBook which is getting on in years was extremely slow, freezing constantly. Was basically not usable. Used these cards to upgrade the memory myself in a last ditch effort to try to get at least another year out of my computer. Wow. It worked! I doubled my ram with these and my computer is running much faster and I am now able to use it to back up my files on drives and try to clean it up to get a bit more life out of it for the time being. It is very easy to install these cards, there are many how-to videos on the web. This purchase was well worth it.

The ram I ordered failed after a few days, thankfully the return process is painless. It may be a gamble. You get some good and you get some bad given the price point.

Went from 16 gigs of RAM to 32... makes a big difference especially when video editing

I used these RAMs to replace the 4GB in my late 2012 mac mini i5 and it made a big difference in the way my computer is running. I did the installation myself by following the youtube instructions. I had a little trouble at first sliding the new RAM into the slots because it has to be set on these little railings at an angle and at first I got it in wrong and had to use 2 toothpicks to carefully get it out. Then I got a flashlight and saw the angle it was supposed to slide in. From there, it was pretty easy. No tools were needed and it took about 5 minutes altogether. The only thing I did use other than my bare hands and a flashlight was a dust off can. There was a big loaf of dust inside mine once I opened it up. Now it’s clean, fast, and smoothly running the latest OS Catalina 10.15.7 update. I’m super glad I finally did this and only wish I had done it sooner.

Has speed up my 2012 IMac. Very easy to install. Just followed the directions from Apple. I still have room for another up grade and I would not hesitate to buy this again. The price is great as well. Item showed up well packed with all the information the buyer needs.
