> 3 dayTook a while to actually turn on. Had to push few times. Takes temp quickly 5, seconds. Then couldn’t turn off. Automatically does after 10 min. Got better after few uses. Took temp 3x in a row 3 diff temps. Only by 2-3 10ths so for adult no big deal. Like the flexibility of probe.

> 3 dayI bought a new thermometer to get a second opinion. We’ve used a temple/forehead thermometer since my son was a baby because it was easier taking his temp. As he got older, I began to feel the thermometer was faulty because it always seemed to register our temps to be over 100 degrees. My son knows he needs to have a temp over 100 to stay home from school and figured he’d found some way to rig it. Hence why I purchased this one, it was 17 years newer and needed to go inside your mouth to take your temp. Will be buying another one for myself, my son isn’t the best about cleaning his body so I don’t want to be sharing an instrument that has to go inside my mouth and his.

Greater than one weekIt’s supposed to be quick but it’s not accurate. Sometimes it will beep but the number will keep rising. So I felt like going back to my old one all the time.

> 3 dayI assumed this thermometer would come with the same plastic sleeves most of them do, but no. It comes with instructions to douse with alcohol each time you want to use it. Have you TASTED rubbing alcohol? It aint exactly a mai tai. Luckily, I had a lot of old plastic sleeves from my last digital thermometer left over, so we should be fine. The long end of this one, however, is a rubbery, flexible stuff, so pulling the sleeve off its backing is a bit tricky because the thermometers nose bends. Its weird, frankly. It seems to work OK, but Im not thrilled with the button you push to start it, as you really have to get your finger down in the hole to get to the button. The last thermometer I had had a nice little button up on top, easy to push, easy to find, easy to see. This one also has a fairly small readout area. So, you really do get what you pay for. Does it work? Seems to. Would I buy it again? Nope. But itll do for now. We needed something to monitor us after our COVID vaccines, so it basically did its job already.

> 3 dayBought this when I was traveling, got sick, and had no thermometer. It arrived the next day, was a good value, and it seemed to be very accurate. I cant rate the battery life because I havent owned it all that long.

> 3 dayI could not beat the price for this thermometer. I needed a thermometer for the house. It’s small in size and you can keep in a plastic case that comes with it.

Greater than one weekReading seems to be slightly off at times. Example, first reading was 98.9, second and third were a correct 97.6 which is my normal reading.
