> 3 dayWas skeptical at first even after watching all the videos online about this but it really worked, dropped my temps by about 5-7 degrees on both my 12th and 13th Gen CPU’s. Recommending this to all my friends!

> 3 dayI tried this modification because I didnt like how much torque was being applied to my CPU when using the stock fastener. I am not sure if it was actually bending the chip but it was under too much pressure in my opinion. Temps improved slightly. Easy to remove original and install and looks cleaner than original silver clamp. Comes with tool to remove and reinstall screws.

> 3 dayWorks. Got my temps down a little bit.

> 3 dayLiterally dropped temps by 20c just by adding this to my i5 12600k.

> 3 dayThis is my first build in 4.5 years, so this time around I wanted to do tons of research. Im installing a CPU water cooler for the first time ever and researching that a fair amount led me to these CPU brackets. Ive never been satisfied with the cheezy, light weight CPU brackets/fasteners which come standad on MBs. This seemed like a valuable asset for just $14. Im running a 13th Gen Intel on an MSI Z690 ACE MB. As you can see from the pic, the fit looks very clean and the aluminum bracket is well machined. I do not know if temps will be lowered vs the stock guillotine bracket but it sure holds the Intel in place far better. And that can only be good.

> 3 dayHello all. This is really a great product and works very well. Ive overclocked my 13600k to 5.5GHZ all cores and I never go over 50c while gaming I would really recommend it for you

> 3 dayWorks as advertised definitely dropped temps byba few degrees only thig I wish I did not say Intel 12 gen on it not really needed and especially when your using it on a 13th gen

Greater than one weekMultiple cores of my i9-12900KS CPU always peaked at 100 degC during Cinebench R23 multi-core tests conducted at 21 degC ambient. I tried several thermal paste application methods/patterns, ...but following AIO pump assembly removal, the paste residue pattern was always evenly distributed with no evidence of CPU IHS cover bending/warping from the motherboards standard LGA1700 CPU mounting solution.

> 3 daydecided to rebuild my computer using a i7-12700k and from what i read and what all my builder friends told me, having this retainer is a must for the long term, as it helps mitigate temperature spikes and evens out the CPU to Cooler contact, allowing for an even heat distribution. Now, I’m not super computer savvy and I’ve only built 3 computers in my lifetime, but if I can install this easily, than anyone can.
