Overall, this is really great tape. Nice and thick, adhesion is about as good as any other economy packing tape. The price per roll is hard to beat, Id rather order this than pay for one of the name brands at the store for the same price for only 4 rolls. Ive had the tape separate from boxes wrapped around the edge, but thats typical of most cheaper packing tapes. Its nothing excessive, and hasnt let me down when it comes to holding packages together.

This tape can be annoying but I find it to be the best value. It is loud when applying. This is unfortunate if we want to use while having clients in the store. It does stick well but doesnt stick imediatly. Once thorughly pressed down it adhears well. When using a dispenser it doesnt always imediatly grab onto the surface.

I was in the packaging industry for 30 years and I know about tape. Do not get fooled purchasing the low cost tape with out knowing what your buying. Most tapes sold in the stores are 2 mil thick and the Tapeking I purchased is 3.2 mil thick. This means the 3.2 mil tape hold heavier loads without using twice the tape. Now that is a money saver. One other thing, you will pay more for a 3.2 mil thick tape in the stores so buy it on line from TapeKing it works! This is not an add, I use it and happy with it.

I own a small business called Lumber Lovin and finding good tape for packaging has been a nightmare for the last 2 years. I’ve been using Uline s-423 and Tape King blows them away. Half the cost and also half the tape usage! This stuff doesn’t just stick to itself, it actually works as packing tape is intended to. It’s also pretty thick so it doesn’t stretch or bounce back on itself when using the gun dispenser (also saving time and headache of getting it back in place and off your fingers) Seriously, this stuff is awesome and Tape King is my new go to company for packing tape for sure. This tape is exactly what I was looking for! The adhesive is excellent & the thickness of the tape is perfect. I dont have to worry about the tape cutting itself before I am ready! Fine for the price. Like others have mentioned, this tape had a terrible (unnatural) odor for weeks after I first purchased it. The remaining rolls have been sitting in my storage unit and seem to have lost the odor. This is definitely bargain tape, but it works for shipping my eBay packages which are generally small and less than a pound. Ive noticed some packages that sat in my hot car before getting to the post office, the tape started to release and peel-up from the shipping box. But after pushing it back down it seemed to stick, and no customers have complained about packaging issues. I wouldnt use this for any heavy weight shipping.

Value wise, you get a lot of tape for your dollar. Performance wise it would be better. It smells odd, it has some weird artifacts(squiggles, lines, bubbles) that I dont get with name brand tapes and it is LOUD to get off of the roll. You do get a bunch of rolls for your dollar spent however so I cant fault the value, but I will be going with a different tape in the future.
