I ordered this burial kit the day before my sweet cat died, as his death was on the horizon. The kit arrived the next day about the same time our cat died. It was truly comforting to have a nice array of fabrics in which to wrap his body and - though placing his body 3 deep in the ground was emotionally very difficult for me, the fact that my buddys body is wrapped in an outer layer of wool continues to provide comfort, as the wool will prevent other animals from ravaging his carcass.

Worked perfectly for its intended purpose. My 116lb dog is nice and wrapped up. The extras included are a very nice touch for the not so happy purpose of the wrap.

My cat had battled kidney failure for a year and six months. I had to make the decision to give him relief but unfortunately he didnt make it and went to Heaven on Saturday. I had ordered this in preparation for him and chose the light blue because I have a beautiful picture of my cat against a blue sky and felt that it was fitting for him. This product was perfect for a hard goodbye. Im pleased with the thought that went into it to swaddle my sweet furbaby. He loved to hide under my blankets, so, wrapping him up in this cacoon was like letting him forever be under my blankets. My cat was long but tiny so I still chose to order the small and it worked for him. I have some chonkier cats that I might be tempted to purchase a medium for them.

This is a high quality, well-thought-out product. My only complaint is that it came in a different color than I ordered, and I didnt have enough time to order another before I needed it. The label on the outside of the package said green, which is what I ordered. When I opened the package a day before needing it, it was aqua. In the grand scheme of things, not my biggest trauma at the moment. But thats the only thing that kept me from giving it five stars.

This product is beautifully made and sturdy. I bought it at a time of obvious grief, but it was a fitting shroud for my pet, as if wrapping her in a comforting swaddling cloth. The inner cloth is a colorful hand-dyed fabric, and the rest of the cover is well put together and easy to carry to a final resting place. There were other nice touches, like fabric flowers and little remembrance items. Theres even a video for how to put it together. This was my way of saying good-bye to a pet of 13 years; the ritual of placing her in this cocoon was something I needed to do. An extra bonus was reading that the company gives to animal charities.

When you are tasked with laying your dear friend to rest, this gives you away to do it with respect and class. It is a very beautiful item. Worth every single penny. If you are reading this I am very sorry for your loss...
