> 3 dayI installed these around the inside of our porch to light our house at night. Fortunately we had a dedicated outside outlet with a switch inside the house. I installed a timer switch that turns these on and off automatically each day. With the 150 ft, I was able to wrap around 100% of the front of our house and 60% of the back - exactly what we wanted. Being able to cut the strand and create two strings of lights made accomplishing this easy from the outlet location outside. The instructions are easy to follow and all the pieces need to make two strands out of the one are included. I did not use the hardware they supplied to install these because the screws they provide are very small and intended for wood rather than the plastic siding where I installed mine. Instead, I used tie wraps that have an eyelet where a screw can be inserted. It took me approximately two hours to install the entire 150 ft. We really like the look these give our home at night - highly recommend this set.

> 3 dayNice strands of lights. Bought 2 sets of warm white lights to put on my new backyard fence. Cut about 40 feet off one as I didnt need the entire length and had no issues. They are very bright. Also purchased a smart timer/dimmer and works perfectly. The little screws and brackets worked well, but well see how long they last out in the hot MS sun.

> 3 dayWe are using this to replace Fluorescent lights for indirect lighting. The Fluorescent was 480 watts. The LED lights are 80 watts.

06-11-2024These lights are bright. Waterproof and a good value. But there are versions of this with 3M tape. Really makes it easier to buy the kind with the tape.

> 3 dayThese are bright and very nice for large outdoor spaces (like this cedar tree). Note that the color on photographs tends in my experience to be different than what we see with the human eye. You can really cover a lot, like a large tree or structure, and the brightness is quite impressive. I have left mine out of doors for two years now, and Im starting to see some issues with dark sections, especially when connecting sections together (first section will light up, but possibly due to corrosion the tail section is inconsistent). Given how much rain we get Im not too upset about it; if I was, I would do a better job of taking them down after the holiday season. The instructions say quite clearly not to plug in when the lights are on the reel, as this will lead to excessive heating. Some reviews include pictures of melted lights on the reel-- just unreel it before you plug it in. Youll probably want to do that anyway, since a tightly coiled line is hard to hang right out of the box.
