Plastic bags are correct size, however the come sealed. When you place finger inside to split the ziplock it almost always tears at the side seam which then results in a bag that cannot be fully sealed.

The usual skinny (6x3) snack is horrible for half a sandwich or cookies. THIS IS THE ANSWER. It is extremely useful for REAL food, as well as the grapes or candies most people put in snack bags.
