10-11-2024I bought these with the intention of using for working out, but I found that they pinched my ears after a few minutes of wearing. I would not recommend these for a true over the ear fit, but the sound quality is still worth it of you want a partially on the ear headphones.

> 3 dayAfter shopping for headphones for the gym a few years ago, I decided on the Hesh series. For the cost, they seemed to have the best sound compared to the Bose, Sony and Beats I had previously owned or tried. When those eventually broke (2.5 years later) I was planning on replacing with the same, bet read the reviews for the Evo and decided to give these a try. The ONLY positive is longer battery life, while there are several negatives. First- the overall volume is noticeably less. Second- the bass level is also less, and that was one of the huge advantages of the Hesh, especially over the Beats I had. Last, the cushion on the ear pieces are firmer and less comfy than the Hesh. Overall, I wish I would have just saved the extra few bucks and purchased the older model that I knew worked great, Evo is definitely not an improvement

> 3 dayI want to start this review with a quick disclaimer. I am not an audiophile. Before these, I mostly used cheap earbuds from the dollar store. So if youre an audiophile looking for a highly technical review, this wont be helpful. If youre a regular person looking for a decent pair of headphones, keep reading. Ive used these daily for about six months. The sound quality is really good. I didnt even realize how bad the sound quality was from my cheap dollar store earbuds until I used these. The bass is nice and deep. Voices and vocals in music are clear. The microphone is solid - I use these for phone calls a lot and have never heard a complaint. Theyre very durable. I wear these to the gym 3x/wk and they can tolerate getting a little sweaty as long as I wipe them down. I bought a hard case to carry them in. The battery life is excellent, and they charge very quickly. I use them for a few hours a day most days of the week. I charge them for an hour or two once a week. My battery life stays between 40-80% at all times. The battery life is my favorite feature about these. They do get a little finicky about connecting to certain devices. For example, I have an older desktop computer, and the headphones tend to disconnect and reconnect. But I think thats a problem with the computer. It has a much older Bluetooth. Thats where the optional aux cord comes in very handy. These dont have active noise-cancelling, but they do muffle external sounds effectively. Its not total silence, but its more than enough to drown out conversations or obnoxious noises, as long as theyre not too loud. As far as comfort goes, these are pretty comfortable. If Im wearing them for a long time, they do start to get a little uncomfortable on my ears after about 3-4 hours. I wouldnt recommend them for all-day wear. Two relatives have bought a pair of these after trying mine. Overall, these were a good value for what I paid for them and I highly recommend them.

> 3 dayfinally got the Hesh Evo and I am in love, at first I was doubting what if the ear cup pad is same as the Venue because the Venue stays in ear and not over ear completely and it heat my ear and I can not wear for long time, however the Evo is perfect, they improve the size cap pad and its slightly spacious now. Whats so cool about this headphone is I like its so light and air that I dont feel the weight when I am wearing it and also the sound quality is SOOO good, also the construction of the Hesh Evo is also improve, its firm and sturdy now and I do not hear the creaks sound when I wear on my head or even when my head are moving unlike the Venue has those creaks sound when I wear them when I move around. Overall I am so happy now and its gonna be my go to headphone now and I gonna use most daily now.

> 3 dayI was really needing some new headphones, saw how expensive others were but trusted skullcandy headphones would be better especially for the price. I bought the Skullcandy evo earbuds before and they lasted like a week before they broke so I was kinda on edge about these but didnt have another choice. Was so excited to get them, waited all week and did research but wasnt much online about the hesh evos. Excited to try them on and they are horrible. At full volume its literally so loud that others can hear it as if you dont even have headphones on and that your just blasting stuff. Same with going down a few levels, very loud through the headphones and disappointed because everyone said they were so good. Now at one of the lowest volumes I can wear them without being humiliated by how much sound it leaks. Im gonna return them or sm really disappointed. Other than the leakage and poor sound quality I would say the earmuffs are comfy and the charging quality is nice. If you want cheap headphones for just needs sometimes you can get, but if you love to play music thats loud all the time, this is a disaster. Go for Bose or Sony, I should have done that first.

> 3 dayUpdate 2 stars: Everything in the review prior to this is still fine but now they keep randomly not playing any sound. Ill have to check if its that app Im using but be aware of that too in case it is the headphones. I got these because I wanted to replace my hesh 2 headphones that had no base at all, and these were on sale. So far, as sound goes these are pretty similar to the hesh 2 but are a bit crisper with noticable bass nothing very strong though. I dont understand the point of the large ⭕ looking button since the power on button is the one between the plus and minus signs and most Bluetooth anything pairs automatically. I wanted to use the cord it comes with because sometimes I like to listen to stuff without having to charge em but the sound on these tank when not on Bluetooth. They barely make a sound at full volume with the cord. Its sad because the hesh 2 headphones that Ive hard for 3 years at this point, work fine even with the same cord just no bass. They were also 50 bucks at the base price, but these were only the same price because of a sale. The ear pads are kinda uncomfortable and hard to take off but at least theyre lighter than my previous ones. Im glad these were on sale because they arent worth the full price compared to some older gen skull candy stuff. The bass is decent, cord mode is terrible, light feel but your better off getting something else. These are not worth 100 dollars in the slightest these have nothing over my old 50 dollar ones other than slightly more bass.
