> 3 dayI have a laptop that loads much faster. Cant say I see any speed differences than another ssd, but it is fast. I am not sure I am using this for the right reason. Just want a fast boot and I think it does well in applications. I had a little trouble getting it to be my boot drive, but that was because my new Dell bios is not friendly.

I have nothing but praise for this ssd and it definitely preforms insanely well without over heating (my guess is the 128 layer NAND made it more energy efficient so it can produce more power without generating as much heat as previous generation 96 or lower layer ssd). I mostly only game on my pc so this is a great way to future proof my storage since all next generation consoles are switching to ssd with similar speeds and since the 30 series video cards saved pc gaming its worth the investment.

> 3 dayOutstanding improvement in speed in my new HP Pavillion 15 laptop compared to the stock OEM drive. Have been using it for several months now and no problems whatsoever. Im not taking making any special effort to cool the drive...and it still runs at full speed in my normal workload (office apps and home work).

> 3 dayWhile theres a lot of things to like about this drive, Ill just focus on the two big ones -- this drive is not much more money than DRAM-less NVMe SSDs, but outperforms them dramatically. Thats true of a lot of higher-end drives, but the kicker was battery life. This drive added back close to half an hour of battery life (unscientific) compared to the Samsung Evo 970 I swapped out. If battery life is a problem and youre running a higher-end NVMe disk, I highly recommend trying this drive.
