Installation was as simple as advertised. Everything worked right out of the box. The only thing with the doorbell (besides my breaker panel being mislabeled) was that their is no indication of which way to hook up the wires inside. However if it does not work one way just swap them around and it works great. Video features require a phone and you can not see the video on the web interface on your PC.

I used to have a traditional alarm system in my old house. Bur when I moved five years ago, I went with Simplisafe and am glad that I did. I installed a couple of smoke alarms, two motion detectors and covered all the doors that could gain immediate entry to my interior. Fine. Check. Done. But I recently decided that the one outside side door to my garage was a potential chink in my armor. It could gain access to my garage - and - if I forgot to lock the door going out to the garage - my interior too. I live in a very safe neighborhood, but crime IS increasing here in California, since there is no will to prosecute criminals here anymore. So, I decided to add a sensor to this garage entry and it took all of five minutes - if that long - to add this sensor to my Simplisafe system. Take it out, stick it to the door and add it to one of the two panels I have. Fine. Check. Done. And thats what I love about Simplisafe. Its Simple. You can buy what you absolutely need today, then add to it later.

I need a few extra, when I started installing them and this was a bargain. Thanks so much.
