SHOOFLY Horse Leggins, Patented Loose Fitting Boots, Breathable Plastic Mesh (Blue/Large)

I have ordered these boots several times in the past and they held up well. I still have some VERY used ones that are on the back legs of my horses. The new ones I put on the fronts and they are already NOT holding up well??? What happened to the quality? The boning in the new ones does not go up all the way and are already bending and the boots are starting to wear very quickly. Just when I find something that works they go and cheapen it so it is no longer as good. I am very disgusted...will not be ordering again unfortunately. Maybe these are knockoffs?????

They do not stay on. They are not the shape of a horses leg. Did not like the product at all.

Unless you have Clydesdale horses dont buy these cheap leg wraps. I got them for my 15.3 hand regular size horse and they were way TOO BIG and stiff. Hard to even wrap around her leg and they just slide down her leg on the tightest velcro size. They are stiff like cardboard. The worse Leg wraps ever. Dont buy these.

Good protection against flies. My horse appreciates them.

They use to last a lot longer before. Now they come apart within weeks. I won’t be buying again.

These worked great when they stayed on. One horse kept them on, the other got them off in 5 minutes.

This is the third year I have bought this type of product. I lived on the West Coast up until three years ago and the barn where I kept my horse was near the coast. We did not get inundated with flies. After moving to the Southeast, it was strongly recommended that I purchase these leggings for my horse. It seemed the first pair I bought in 2019 lasted longer than the pair I bought in 2020. The first pair was passed down to a retired horse but last years leggings had to be tossed. Shoo-Fly is still a great brand and with strong recommendations from all my barnmates, I will continue to purchase these every year.

Not the most attractive boots but they work. Feel like they are a little pricey.

My horse is turned out 24/7 but in regular work and wears shoes. Our late summer atmosphere in NC was PERFECT for flies and my horse almost didnt make his 5-week shoe schedule because of the flies. I purchased these and they fit and worked GREAT! His shoes were quite solid in his next shoeing cycle and they stood up VERY WELL to 24/7 turnout. These will be a part of his summer routine regularly!
