I mainly use these for running and hiking and they are great! They aren’t a replacement for the normal in ear headphones, I use these only when I need to hear my surroundings outside or home with the kids a sleep.

I like the bone conduction for listening to audio books while being aware of sounds while walking my dog on the trail. I find these very comfortable and I love not having buds in my ear. They stay on better and the controls are easy to use. The one drawback is they are awful for phone calls. My voice seems very loud and blurry to listeners I call. Since I like the other aspects of bone conduction, I ordered the Aftershokx OpenComm head set. The sound is superior and it works well for phone calls. All in all a good upgrade. I also had a problem with the charger on the Openrun set. It quit working suddenly because a small metal pin fell out so it could not charge the set. I ordered a replacement set, but somehow it was undeliverable. Weird. I am now using the OpenComms charger for both.

Its so nice to have the different sizes. Now that I have a smaller size I can lie on the band with the ears pieces staying in place. As ever the sound is nice and the noise to others is negligible. The mics work well and the Bluetooth stays connected. Connecting to two phones etc is very handy.

Absolutely brilliant bit of engineering, Fits well, doesnt fall off like ear pods, can hear the traffic when I bike, and charges quickly. Many friends are buying these based on my recommendation.

I was able to communicate with other staff and still be aware of hazards in my surroundings.

The purpose of this headset is listen to music without silencing the environment. It works very well as such, however if you try to use them to listen to an audiobook or a podcast, it may be hard to understand if the noise level is moderate or high. Same if you try to used them in a gym or a noisy environment. In that case even listening to music may be a challenge, since the Shokz technology cant compete with loudness.

Good for running , excellent to still hear surroundings
