> 24 hourI dont believe in using disposable products regularly for environmental reasons, but once in awhile disinfecting wipes are very handy and these are the best ones that Ive found. A lot of reviewers complained about the smell -- the product smells just like thyme essential oil; not the best smelling essential oil, but the scent is much better than the fake perfumy smells that a lot of non-natural cleaners have. I also think thymol is one of the safer ingredients to use as a disinfectant (I make my own disinfecting sprays using, thyme, lavender and tea tree essential oils) -- it comes from thyme and according to the EPA (Environmental Protection Agency), there are no known adverse effects of the use of this compound, when it is used in conjunction with animals and humans. I would highly recommend this product for occasional use (sticking to reusable cloths for most cleaning).

> 24 hourEffective at scrubbing away grime, if you use a little elbow grease! I like using these to disinfect the floor after my puppy has an accident. She is always licking up treats off the floor, so I like using Seventh Generation wipes because I know they are safe for her. I can imagine that if you have little kiddos who crawl on the floor, these non-toxic, all natural wipes would be a better alternative to traditional chemical Klorox wipes. Pro Tip: The surface youre cleaning must remain wet for 3 full minutes in order to disinfect. This means that you may have to use more than 1 wipe to keep the surface wet for the full 3 minutes.

> 24 hourWhy do they have to smell so bad? I will keep buying them because I need disinfectant wipes and dont want to use Clorox etc., but the second a better smelling one is available these are going in the trash. Im also not thrilled that you have to let it sit for 10 minutes to disinfect, but its still better than using ones that make me feel like Im covering my kitchen in toxic fumes.

> 24 hourThe scent of this product is really unpleasant but the cleaning products are really hard to find these days. So, I use rubber gloves to wipe everything down so the scent doesnt linger on my hands, and I toss the used wipes in the garbage in the garage instead of in the kitchen. I know I am being really over sensitive to this, but I just really do not like the fragrance. I still appreciate having the wipes that I know will kill the germs which is far better than having this virus. So, I am grateful.

> 24 hourI liked the fact that it kills germs botanically. I dont like using harsh cleaners that pose a risk to your health. When I clean with 7th Gen Wipes, I dont feel the need to rinse off harmful chemicals from my hands. I safely clean the kitchen without worry. I wipe down everything inside my house. I even wipe down high touch surface areas of my car after trips to curbside pickup. Im not a fan of lemongrass scent, but its fine. Its not so overpowering that it gives you a headache.

> 24 hourWe dearly love these wipes and have, over the past few years, bought hundreds of canisters of them (and hundreds of bottles of the spray) for use in our homes, businesses and animal rescue facilities. We used to purchase them in bulk from another online provider, but they quit carrying them. I went back to their site to order a few dozen canisters and, poof, they had disappeared. I searched and found that Amazon had the wipes at the same price, so I was thrilled. Further, the Amazon ones are shrinkwrapped, whereas the other seller used to put these adhesive strips over the tops of the canisters to keep them closed in shipping. Removing these strips was a real PITA, so we were thrilled to see Amazons were shrinkwrapped. No more cut fingers or ripped labels. I highly recommend this Seventh Generation product, which I also want to note is wonderful at quick stain-removal tasks (food on your clothes, carpet or cars seats or carpeting). They have just enough surfactant (soap) to do the job. UPDATE 3-2-20: Seventh Generation has apparently updated this product, which now has an orange lid and different label artwork. More importantly, though, I believe they have changed the formula to alter the former scent, which I dearly loved (I found it soothing), but which many people did not. Unfortunately, we have found that since the reformulation, these wipes now turn our fingers and fingernails orange...and it lasts for days! (Sure, we should wear disposable exam gloves while using them, but this isnt always practical.) I dont object to the new scent, but actually preferred the old one. And, as someone whos been involved in the graphics business since the 80s, I think they could have done a lot better on their label design. Further, just before updating this review, I visited the Seventh Generation site and noticed that they are still showing the former packaging (green lid and former label). Odd.

> 24 hourI am one of those people that doesnt make a purchase without researching every option and price to get a good deal. So I was searching for an all natural disinfecting wipe and after literally hours I decided to try this item out despite some reviewer saying they leave a weird smell. I actually do not mind the smell and you get used to it after awhile. I would say they are comparable to leading toxic brands like clorox in cleaning up messes. They do tend to foam up and leave an initial residue but dries clear. Anyone on the fence about purchasing an all natural disinfecting product should begin by comparing the ingredients in this product to that of the big named products, then google some of those ingredients. You too will soon realize not worth risking your own health by using anything besides natural cleaning products.

> 24 hourI dont mind the scent. It has a herbal smell to me. The wipes are wet enough so thats not a problem. The only difficulty I have is the dispenser tab. It doesnt seem to work very well and I cant get them to pull through easily. I like the idea of using something natural for cleaning and they do a good job without leaving a residue behind like the Wet Ones do. I wish they would redesign the dispenser tab so they would be easier to use.

> 24 hourI love these wipes! I use these in the classroom and at home. The students all notice and really like the lemongrass scent. They are VERY sensitive to odors and will remark anytime anything smells bad, so I know this product is very natural. I dont love the scent, but its not offensive to me. At home I use these to clean out lunch boxes. I used to use chlorine based wipes for that purpose, but then I let the lunch boxes air out to get the chemical smell out, and the next day I would wonder if all the chemical fumes were out while I was loading up the organic produce and hot meal in their lunch. This product at least makes me feel like Im reducing the kids exposure to chemicals! Really nice product, cleans very effectively, classroom desks come out gleaming instead of smeared with pencil!

> 24 hourThere is some essential oil used in these wipes as a disinfectant and it is not pleasant at all. Otherwise, the wipes themselves are ok. Kind of oblong but large enough. Not sure how effective these wipes are at killing bacteria, though.
