> 3 dayI got these instead of the pioneer x7 because they were a little cheaper and because a few reviews of the x7 said they break after a year. The hd25 arent as comfy as the x7 becuase the earcups are kinda small and the hd25 sound isnt as good as the x7 in the low end the hd25 start to break up and distort. The hd25 do come with replacement earcup wires in case your wires go bad. The hd25 cancel outside noise well and are loud enough to handle a club environment with heavy bass. Overall happy with the purchase.

> 3 daybought these to replace MDR-v6s I was using for film sound monitoring, the upgrade was a long time coming. a little tight, adjusted with a CAREFUL couple minutes of setting across the knees and warming with a hairdryer, removing/checking and repeating the process. Didnt want to chance over-stretching and attempt to re-compress. sound is phenomenal, arrived in the mail, immediately used them as a personal stereo off of a blackberry priv running Blackplayer at full volume, bass boost and amplifier(4kmDB) Behemoth, Justice, Anilah, RATM, and Chopin. the HD25s struggled a bit with RATM and Justices heavier bass, but at listenable headphone (master)volume (amp and bass still maxed) there were no issues. Very nice, lightweight, and simple construction that lends itself to getting beat up and still working perfectly. only downside for me is a personal preferance, I CANNOT find an aftermarket or OEM cable that allows for a left side cable.

15-11-2024I like to use headphones for hours at a time. These are not the ones for that... unless your okay with some TMJ. My jaw and ears became sore after a few long hours mixing songs. These are great for walking around town and bumping tunes. I love the sound of em and they do look cool. The stabilizing additional headpiece allows you to headband all you want. Sennheiser makes lots of great cans so I picked up another more comfortable model for mixing.

> 3 dayBought these to replace another older pair of Sennheiser cans. Smaller, lighter, and have that Sennheiser sound. I use these in a radio studio for several hours a day, every day. I can barely even tell I am wearing them. Good headphones are not cheap, and cheap headphones are not usually good. Worth the money any day.

> 3 dayI had a pair of $300 Pioneer DJ headphones I loved, but needed replaced. Decided to save 50% and give Sennheiser a try. Would I buy again? Hmm, honestly I wish I had spent the extra $150 and bought another pair of Pioneers, but I think for most people these will be adequate, I just dont think they are perfectly suited to bass-heavy EDM.

> 3 dayCups fit tight - even on my narrow female head (and I have small ears, too). Its good for the noise isolation. Its meant to be that way. Only the left ear cup swivels. I thought both would, so that was a small letdown since I didnt see mentioned anywhere. I didnt even get a bag or anything to hold the headphones. I knocked off a star because even all of my $100 casual/budget/gaming headphones that I bought over the years ALL came with a nylon bag at least. I guess they had to skimp out somewhere, he? Do NOT, I repeat, do NOT buy these for casual listening to keep on your head straight for several hours. They are not meant for that purpose. Your ears will choke, get sweaty and get fatigued.

Greater than one weekLight weight, comfortable, and versatile make these perfect for run and gun video/film style. Very good audio quality. But impossible to change from the coiled cord to the straight the cord. I was unable to find the appropriate size took to use so I gave up. They should include it in the package given the pricing.

> 3 dayThese headphones are really nice. The sound quality and the noise cancellation is really nice. I also like the capability of being able to fold one of the ears off to the side, i works well when mixing music. My only complaint is that the headphones themselves are a bit small for my big ears. They put alot of pressure on them and after not even 30 minutes, my ears start to hurt. Sad since I paid a pretty penny for them, but that was my own fault for not looking into it more.

Greater than one weekOriginally, I was put off by the cheap feeling construction... That is, until I put them on and heard the quality of the sound. These are great headphones... The range of the HD 25s is very good; I feel the bass is rich and and mids/highs are crisp. Sennheiser has found a good balance between low and high range frequencies. I cranked my volume pretty high and I did not hear any clipping or distortion. I am very please with these and they even sound better if you pair them with a DAC! If you are an audiophile, these are great starters.

> 3 dayNice headphones to be sure - but I take issue with calling them DJ headphones. They dont have the swivel ear and are kind of small/unwieldy (if that combination makes sense) for mixing. The build and sound quality is great, so I definitely recommend them in general, I would just go with something else for actual DJing.
