SEALs Embrace (Take No Prisoners Series)

This is a really good book. The only problem is that its too short so things happen at a very rapid pace because theres no time to waste. Ultimately, we get the happy ending with Erin and Cesar that we know is coming...and it makes you smile. Cesar is a bit obsessed at the start of the book. He doesnt overplay it or cross into stalker territory, though. Our handsome SEAL wants Erin, a nurse and an officer, and he ensures that she is aware of his attraction. Erin, on the other hand, is a bit gun shy due to a previous bad relationship and also because of non-fraternization rules. Shes an officer, Cesar is not and they both plan to be career military. She is able to resist Cesar, though, and some of her medical colleagues are more than eager to go out with Cesar when she wont. That gives her pause, although Cesar is single-minded and wants no substitute for Erin. He is very persistent, very kind, and a hunk and Erin tumbles into being in love with him. Bonus points for Erin not being a heroine who would wring her hands and get angst-y after she makes her decision and acknowledges that Cesar is the man for her. When she finally gets that Cesar is serious and that she wants him as much as he wants her, she goes full steam ahead. And I dont use the word steam lightly because there is plenty of steam in this book. While there are only two or three of love scenes, an appropriate number based on the length of this book, they are hot. You should read each book in the series and the order doesnt matter because each is standalone. If youre looking for an easy, hot read with engaging characters and a happy ending, here you go!

A wonderfully written story. Elle James knows how to develop her story lines and characters. You wont be able to put this book down. Enjoy!!!

This is a well written and edited book. The storyline is action filled and fast paced. The characters are well developed and likeable. Love the audio option!

Very nice. Compelling characters and fresh anst. Two adults who act like adults is refreshing. No lame misunderstandings is also refreshing.

This story was like my kryptonite. I love medical stories, I love military stories. Put them together and I just knew that Ill love it. This story was no exception. I absolutely adored Caesar and Erin. Caesar is sexy and charming. He knows what he wants and has no problems going after it. Erin is a little less sure of herself, but shes going to let Caesar prove to her once and for all that HE is the only thing that she needs. Their chemistry was crazy well-written and totally believable. The plot was nicely done, full of action and suspense. I believed every moment of it. My only complaint? I would have loved their story to be longer. Ill definitely be reading more from this author.

I loved it the first time I read it and the second time way just as good. The characters are interesting and intriguing and you will love this story.

You have done it again. Couldnt put it down until I read the whole thing. You have a great way of putting romance and danger together and making it work.
