Plug it in the back and that all. It just works! I only wish it was 2 TB.

I like having all my purchased games ready to play. I like going back to other games at times to replay them. This helps by expanding another 1TB of space. Expensive and proprietary but worth it. For my older Xbox games I use a huge USB drive and store them there.

Very easy to set up... Just plug it in (note, you must plug this in with the xbox completely off (not stand by). If you do plug it in in standby, youll get a message when you use it saying signal strength is low. Just do a shutdown (Settings > General > Sleep mode & startup > Full Shutdown) then restart your console and you are good to go.

Unpacking it was very satisfying. It’s nice to have more than 5 games on my Xbox at once now

With the size of games these days, this is definitely and needed upgrade. For older games, I still plug in USB3.0 HDDs that cost around 25 bucks these days...and then use the flash storage for newer XS ready games!
