Seagate Storage Expansion Card for Xbox Series X|S 1TB Solid State Drive - NVMe Expansion SSD (STJR1000400)

This is by far the best storage expansion I’ve used for an Xbox. I do wish it was offered in a higher storage capacity but with there not being too many games enhanced for series x it’s enough for the time being.

Got a good price on this from Amazon marketplace, it works but sometimes it gives an error that says that the xbox see the card but the connection is weak. I have to remove the card again and reinsert it. This has happened twice if it happens again, I’ll request a refund.

Pretty pricey for the storage, worked great on my friends Series X but not mine. Troubleshooted it and turns out it was a hardware, software issue with my series x. I guess some consoles are having issues recognizing when an external drive is plugged in. Still give it 5 stars since it works, will have to make sure it works on my console after Microsoft repairs it.

Its helpful in needing more storage it just cost so much for only 1TB

The price is a bit much. It’s about half the prices of buying a new Xbox or PS5. The companies deliberately put low storage on new systems so we have to buy extra memory at a high price. With that being said it’s a better deal than the 2 TB card. It does what it’s supposed to do and hold around 30 to 50 good sized games. It’s better than uninstalling and downloading over and over. Make sure to have your device turned on before you plug it in or you will likely see an error message and will appear that none of your games work. If this happens unplug memory, do a hard reset on your device and then power your device on for a minute and then plug the memory in.

I find this a little high for price but cant complain because thats all there is

It works perfectly, although the additional space is what should have come with the core system. Plug n play. Easy.
