Bought for husbands xbox and he transferred everything to it and his xbox one runs so much faster. Plus he now has a total of 5 tb of storage so he doesnt have to delete games and redownload when wanting to play!

Just plugged into the ps4 and it recognized it and then just went to the storage in settings and was very easy to move everything to the hard drive

It does work with the PS5. It will store and play PS4 games from the external hard drive. It will store PS5 games on it, HOWEVER, you have to move the game to internal storage in order to play. Also, this external hard drive has to be plugged into the USB in the back of the PS5. I would definitely recommend especially if you have a lot of PS4 games.

Great, and quick set up

Well. Same story as the other negative reviews. I had my Seagate for 4 months. After three weeks I started getting error messages. It still worked though Big hassle though. ALWAYS an ordeal. Then on the 4th month it stopped working. It had sounds, but the console wouldn’t recognize it, and the little light wouldn’t blink. I did all the internet solutions, but nothing worked. Sucks too. 70 bucks is a lot of money for me....
