Seagate (STGD2000100) Game Drive for PS4 Systems 2TB External Hard Drive Portable HDD – USB 3.0, Officially Licensed Product

This Seagate 2TB external hard drive is marketed as an accessory to the PlayStation gaming console for storage of games designed for that system. And so it is. Its also a external hard drive that functions like any other external hard drive on which you can also store any other data compatible with this type of device. Its a NTFS device compatible with 3.0 USB ports making it quite fast and responsive. Its also a very sleek, compact device, thin and easy to store away or carry about. This, however, does gives me pause; experience has taught me that externals of such slim and elegant design are attractive but can be fragile. I certainly cant say that fragility is a feature of this Seagate but I dont want to find out the hard way that it is; I will have to be very careful with it and probably wont carry it around with me much as I would mass storage devices that are specifically designed to take a certain amount of rough handling. In all this is a good choice for storage at a competitive price, looks good and is more versatile than I expected.

Excelente relación calidad - precio, no entiendo por que dicen que es especial para PS4 salvo el color del disco duro, creo cualquier otro sirve igual, pero a parte de que lo compré precisamente para un PS4, el precio era bastante competitivo, vale la pena la inversión sobre todo para la gente que tenemos casi toda nuestra colección de juegos en formato digital y que no tenemos mucho tiempo para jugar, cuando nos hacemos un rato para hacerlo es frustrante acordarnos que ciertos juegos los tenemos que bajar por que los borramos para meter otros, con esto ya tenemos todos listos para jugar!

Takes less than 2 minutes to connect to my PS4. Plenty of storage. A+++

I am constantly having to re-connect and repair this device. Lee’s than 3 months in and it just completely fails to play a single game on ps4 without crashing. I have never had this issue with any other brand and cannot be more frustrated with a hard drive. Don’t do it!!

Helped so much for storage, easiest set up ever too.
