I needed this badly and it is a quality product.

Good product.

Just plugged into the ps4 and it recognized it and then just went to the storage in settings and was very easy to move everything to the hard drive

Sleep mode kinda shaky. Sometimes it works asap, others you have to go to Storage device to activate/repair.

This was a gift for my grandson. He loves it.

Awesome that the hard drive starts with these random disconnect issues less than a month after my eligible return window. I don’t know why, but while I’m playing games I get a random error message that stops you from playing until you continue through the prompted messages. It says The device wasn’t disconnected properly although I’ve never actually disconnected the hard drive. Thanks for the waste of $100. Won’t be buying seagate hard drives again. A google search of the same issue, seagate has been the common denominator from people with the same error message.

It literally doesn’t last,I’m already having problems with after two days of getting it it keeps on telling me that “the device cannot be used” I keep on having to disconnect it and sometimes even disconnecting doesn’t solve the problem. Plz for the love of god don’t waste your money on this

Wouldnt let me back up my PS4. Wouldnt let me format it to back up my PS4. Wouldnt save any applications to the drive. So you get 2 TB of space that you cant use with a PS4. Seems ofldd for a licensed product.
