I loved how it was easy to install, unlike the PS4 expansion. This one only took a couple of minutes to install and a minute for my PS5 to reformat it. Would recommend it to anyone looking to expand their PS5s storage.

The item was very easy to install in my Ps5, and worked great for about a month, however it overheated and hard crashed my Ps5 multiple times. I filed a warranty claim with Seagate, and it has been a horrible process. Barely any communication, and they have been very unhelpful. They eventually shipped my replacement, but sent it to the wrong address! Now they will not respond to fix it. My replacement is out there somewhere, but I will probably never receive it. I began this process over a month ago.

The heat spreader wasn’t needed for the motherboard. Had to take it off. Took a while.

Good price at the time I purchased. Very simple to install and set up. And it more than doubles the base PS5 storage. Highly recommended.
