Seagate FireCuda HDD 8TB Internal Hard Drive HDD - 3.5 Inch CMR SATA 6Gb/s 7200RPM 256MB Cache 300TB/year with Rescue Services (ST8000DX001)

It was at 6,500 the first time I installed it and when I reformatted it it permanently dropped to around 5,500. I need someone from Seagate to reach out to me and explain what happened.

Its claims to have 7400 mbs write speed but in reality its only 6500mbs!!

As title. Refund from amazon after having ro return. Shame as even though the time to install is second transferring files to it did take time for it to fail within 2 weeks. The ssd simply disappeared from the storage lptions in the console. Whatever i tried the ssd wouldnt show up. Bought another WD while waiting for the refund and it has been faultless so far

My item arrived faster than expected and works wonderfully

The data transfer rate is pretty fast on this hard disk and its working well so far. No complaints here

Easy to install and extremely well built. Got 6500MB read speed on second try to format the SSD in PS5. Highly recommend if you’re looking for extra storage for PS5 and money isn’t the problem.
