Ive been using this heavy duty tape for MANY years. Its the best. I use it mostly for mailing packages and also for laminating cards etc. Its definitely preferable to some of the lighter tapes. I trust it to hold a package or something else together.

Way better than bargain, thin tape. It holds its shape and does not foul itself like the aforementioned variety. As others have testified, the cutter could maybe be better. It does hold to new corrugated well, but overall the adhesion could be just a bit better. Nothing has come loose yet, though.

Was looking for some package closing dispensers and these are perfect. The video was helpful as to loading and tearing the tape.

I use this tape primarily to ship boxes. You have to be careful not to twist it, but otherwise it works well.

I have a large industrial tape holder that I have used for years. Found the refills but not the handle. Needed packing tape to seal return boxes for USPS. These are smaller and easier to use, even with the large tape.

I have learned my lesson buying cheap, ultra thin, knockoff tape brands. Never again. This 3M heavy tape is the best way to go if you dont do continuous package wrapping (where the extra cost can be a real concern). I use this stuff for personal packages (like Amazon returns!). :) Anyway, it always spools-out reliably and wont break accidentally the way the thin knock-offs do. I have also found that the cheapy tapes further degrade in the summer due to 100+ temperatures where I live. The 3M tapes dont. Theyre more expensive , but these frustration-free thicker 3M tapes are worth every penny.

Great value for my money

These are very easy to use in constructing boxes, and the adhesion is very strong. You also get a lot of tape in a roll. My only negative was that it was a little difficult getting the tape started, but maybe theres a way of doing it that Im not aware of.
