As my desktop grows old (more than 4 years), booting takes longer and longer (thanks to OS updates), and then I couldnt tolerate it any more. Swapping the boot drive to SSD speeds up both booting and application loading several times faster. This is the least expensive way to upgrade an older computer.

Bon, cest un SanDisk, il doit assurer comme on dit. Et il assure... plus rapide quun Samsung Evo 850, je lai monté après avoir cloné Windows 7 dessus et repartitionné lensemble : tout fonctionne. Le prix, un peu cher, mais la concurrence vaut pas mieux.

Easy to install and very fast

I purchased the SanDisk 1TB Ultra 3D NAND SATA III SSD - 2.5-inch Solid State Drive - SDSSDH3-1T00-G25 to replace a Western Digital 750Gb 2.5 hard drive in my 10 year old ASUS laptop that was running Windows 10. I used EaseUS Todo free ver 10.6 to clone the WD drive to the SanDIsk drive, then used MiniTool Partition Wizard Free software to expand the partition on the Sandisk. Surprisingly, everything worked perfectly and I did not have to reinstall anything. The machine now boots in 45 seconds which took several minutes before and shuts down in 15 seconds which took at least a minute before. Being an older laptop, the speed bottleneck is no doubt with the bus and older CPU, but the improvement is at least 300%. I expect all operations and updates will be similarly sped up accordingly. A great purchase in my opinion.

El producto llegó en el tiempo indicado, lo instalé en mi iMac como disco externo y le instalé macOS Catalina, realmente es muy rápido, enciende en 15 segundos. Lo recomiendo totalmente.

Worked great I suppose for a while, 6 months of use killed it apparently.
