SanDisk 2TB Extreme Portable External SSD - Up to 550MB/s - USB-C, USB 3.1 - SDSSDE60-2T00-G25

If my Mac computer goes to sleep or if I dont eject the drive before I close my laptop it wont mount when I restart. I have to open Disk Utility, I see it grayed out in the list of drives, I click it and have to click mount and wait 5-10 min before it mounts and is recognized by any of my computers. I planned to work off of it but I find it unreliable and finicky to be able to trust it to function when I need it to. I am outside the return window as I purchased it for Christmas.

This is a great mid priced ssd that has a read and write of about 500mb, I’m using it to backup my laptop. May got another one for extra storage. Very portable and seems to be well made enclosures.

Maintenant que tous les connectiques sont en usb-c, même les téléphones Android. Ce disque dur est le couteau suisse des disques dur. Je le branche se lordinateur a mon téléphone quand jai besoin de fichiers.

Lo tengo hace poco y de momento muy bien. Me ha parecido rápido (tiempo de backup).

Stupid fast. 550MB/s. One downside is definitely going to be lifespan. Flash storage has a life, and can only be written to/read from so may times before it goes bad. Its gotten better over the years, but if you expect to copy 20TB to and from this thing and not have it fail at some point, you should probably stick with a mechanical drive.
