SanDisk 2TB Extreme Portable External SSD - Up to 550MB/s - USB-C, USB 3.1 - SDSSDE60-2T00-G25

Purchased in Nov 2019 to consolidate all files into one location for easy access. The first four months the device worked exactly as I hoped but then there were intermittent connection issues, lag time between operations and so on. This was followed by no connection at all for extended periods of time ( sometimes hours and other times days) and finally it began over heating to the point I stopped using it. It’s outside the return window and it would seem I wasted a lot of money for essentially nothing as I can not and will not use this drive again.

This device is always hot above 100 degrees when plugged in, even when not in use and even when the computer is sleeping. Drive from other makers dont get noticeably warm but this SanDisk is uncomfortably warm to the touch. The heat is a waste of the laptops battery and probably detrimental to the life of the drive.

Eine super schnelle SSD-Festplatte von SanDisk, die bisher alles ausgehalten hat. Ich habe die Festplatte auf Reisen dabei, in der Uni, schneide Videos in der Bahn oder einfach zu Hause. Überall einsatzbereit. Ich habe die 2 TB Version und dank USB-C Schnittstelle ist die Festplatte auch rasend schnell. Teilweise kopiert man mit 450 mb/s.

Ho acquistato questo prodotto per avere un dispositivo di archiviazione esterno portatile e leggero. Il profdotto si prenta effettivamente molto bene, è leggerissimo e sta nel palmo di una mano. La confezione comprende un cavo USB type-c con adattatore per UBS type-a (quello che usano i PC). Le specifiche dicono che è anche impermeabile, spero di non dover testare questa funzionalità. Lho provato per un paio di giorni e mi pare che sia veloce e affidabile.

The transfer speed is close to what the company claims. As the name suggests the drive is extremely portable. No problems in different OS platforms (Windows and Mac OS). But by default, the drive is incompatible with Ubuntu.

Excellent produit mais ne fonctionne pas sous xp et en usb1.

Mi serviva qualcosa da portarmi sempre con me nello zaino del Mac ,poco ingombrate e sopratutto veloce nel trasferimento dei dati.

el formato para poner en el llavero esta muy bien pero quizas eche en falta una funda como traen otras.
