> 3 dayIts not entirely clear what is happening with this portable SSD. I have purchased and used 500GB SSDs in more than a few systems in the past few years and never found a problem with any of them. This one worked for a while, but in recent months it started corrupting file data -- ordinary PDFs, *.docx, *.xlsx, and so on were rendered unreadable in Win10 Pro and Enterprise, though original document copies were fine. I did verify that Write-Back Cache was disabled when I first started using it, and I routinely invoke Windows eject before I remove the drive, but that does not seem to matter. I notice other people reported a similar problem, I suppose its possible this one got assembled from a bad semiconductor lot.

Comes with the USB Type C cable (both ends) and an adapter (USB-C to USB-A) so itll work on older computers too. Highly recommend the case - https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07G76H4HP - even though it seems to weigh more than the drive itself. Nice to have the extra protection.

> 3 dayI use this for spring photos mostly. It is small and the performance is pretty awesome. I haven’t tested its durability regarding weather with the exception of wiping it off with a damp cloth. There is a rubber grip that tens to collect dust.
