Unfortunately, I almost returned this because I had to fiddle with the USB connection to get my laptop to recognize it. I scanned the reviews and FAQs and quickly found out that the USB adapter must be oriented correctly when connected to the cord. Once I did that, it worked great! The other thing I messed up (maybe) is I did not reformat the drive as one reviewer suggested. So, its a bit slow, but perhaps because I used the default format. Regardless, this is a small, reasonably high capacity device that meets my needs perfectly.

Ich brauchte eine Platte für meinen neuen RAVPower Hub, um im Urlaub die Bilder und Videos von den Kameras und Handys zu sichern. Das ganze sollte klein sein und doch schnell genug, damit man sich nicht zu lange mit dem Kopierprozess rumärgern muss. Mein Flaschenhals liegt nun eindeutig nicht an der externen Festplatte, denn die Performance ist absolut ausreichend. 433/440 lesend/schreibend an einem älteren USB 3.0 ist absolut OK. Beim Random Read/Write war zu erwarten, dass die Performance runter geht, liegt für mich aber immer noch im Rahmen - hier geht auch meine M.2-SSD mit den Leistungsdaten signifikant runter.

Velocissimo e non scalda

The speed is really good, capacity is really good. but the encription SW looks like a 90s SW even the speed is affected and this make the loading really slow. x10 times.
