Its an SSD and with fast read/write access and easy to use for travellers. Im using it to backup my Terabytes of pictures.

Ery light weight. Used the included USB c to usb 3 adapter as I was using the USB c to charge laptop.

I got this to upgrade my 2017 21.5 iMac that used a slowwwww SATA HD. This thing is amazing. Super easy to format for APFS and clone my HD to this external one. Now I selected this as my boot disk and my iMac is running like it is brand new with the best equipment. Could not recommend more and it shipped super fast also! It is a miracle with the USB-C connection.

I added this Sandisk 2TB SSD to complement my G Technology G Drive 1 TB drive. Despite the SanDisk advertising faster speeds, I have had a far less satisfactory experience. The speed was not up to par with the G tech drive and trying to edit movie files was a no starter on the SanDisk as it was painfully slow. Also, there have been numerous times the drive would fail to show on the desktop, which has been very frustrating. Today was the last straw. I offloaded a mornings worth of photos and images and went to view them when suddenly the disk failed to load., Despite resetting preferences, the SanDisk looks like like it has totally failed. I was only using it to store images and have now lost a years worth of data. 1 year seems like a short life span for a drive.

This thing is awesome. SSD is the way. I always was turned off by the price. But after losing 3 SATA drives in a year. I should’ve just bought the SSD and saved myself the hassle. It ejects instantly instead of having to wait like a SATA. Data transfer is quick when you’re using USB-C or USB 3.0. I recommend

Das Teil ist stark und funktioniert genau so, wie es soll. Allerdings verliere ich irgendwie langsam echt den glauben an vielen / sämtlichen Firmen. Der Adapter, den man auf einen der beiden USB-C Enden stecken kann hat (Achtung setzt euch fest hin) einen POKA JOKE Schutz ??? Im ernst ??? Ich eliminiere einfach mal so einen großen Vorteil von USB-C durch Geometrie? Wieso? Der Adapter lässt sich so nur von einer bestimmten Seite einführen. Da verliert man echt den Glauben an die Menschheit... und jetzt kommt mir nicht mit Schutz vor dem versehentlichen herausrutschen... das geht auch anders. Etwas schwach aber gut.. irgendwie auch irrelevant.
