> 3 daySolid state is the way to go for external drives, particularly for backup. About average in terms of size. Good value at $125 -- at $165 not so much. Prompt delivery.

Greater than one weekMove lots of photos and videos around, not to mention backups on the road. This thing is orders of magnitude faster than mechanical hard drives, and doesnt mind being dropped unlike hard drives. Great product, just make sure to use supplied cable or other high quality cables.

02-11-2024I used to use regular USB 3.1 Flash Drive, but because the limit of the USB to USB C adapter, the data transfer rate was not very good. This one is perfect. USB C to USB C for my MacBook Pro. I installed Window 10, Window 7, Ubuntu 18.04 with my VMware Fusion. I storaged my virtual machine files in this portable. Now I can free the internal HD space for my MacBook.
