I have a Macbook Pro with 1TB SSD internal drive. I use Carbon Copy Cloner to make a full disk image of the internal drive. I was able to copy 500GB in about 30 mins and the resultant image was bootable. Booting to the logon screen took 30 seconds. This is significantly quicker than any other drive I have used. Also its very small compared to regular external drives. All in all very impressed.

De Sandisk 1TB SSD bleek een stuk kleiner te zijn dan ik had verwacht. Zeer compact, goede capaciteit en daarom uitstekend als back-up om mee te reizen.

Its small, light, extremely well made and finished. Will stand up to more knocks and scratches than the Samsung T5

On this price I can buy m.2 internal and hook it up on some m.2 case , that will be faster than this . And its is not even close to 500mbps , my laptop has 970evo ,fastest SSD . With that it is giving 200mbps
